Resultaten van economische evaluaties spelen een grote rol in beleidsbeslissingen. Is dat dure medicijn wel kosteneffectief? Moeten we onze schaarse middelen nu wel of niet inzetten op eHealth interventies of beter op bevolkingsonderzoek op darmkanker?
Vragen die beantwoord kunnen worden met economische evaluaties zoals kosteneffectiviteitsanalyse. Van 10-14 juni biedt de MSc Epidemiology een Engelstalige cursus aan met onderwerpen zoals het meten van kosten, het meten van uitkomsten en onzekerheidsanalyse. Diverse werkvormen, zoals hoorcolleges, werkcolleges, practica, zelfstudie, groepsopdracht en eindpresentatie zorgen ervoor dat deze boeiende week voorbij vliegt.
