Meer dan 60 miljoen beelden zijn uitgewisseld via de EVOCS beeld-sharing-technologie.
Oss, the Netherlands – as an innovative leader in healthcare, EVOCS has released its cutting-edge, cloud-based medical image sharing platform that vastly enhances image management, distribution and data exchanges between referring physicians and hospitals, regardless of geographical location.   Fysicon was one of the first to create this Picture Archive Solution and has since gone on to control of 85% of the Dutch market.  Over 60 million images have been exchanged via the EVOCS image-sharing technology.

With its 2011 enhanced Web Viewer (brand name EVOCS Advanced Webviewer) this XDS, XDE, HL7 compliant cloud-based platform for document exchange medical imaging management application, was the first that allows reports to become embedded with the Dicom image.  Consultants can communicate directly, share information and images simultaneously via the built-in video conferencing facility.

This technology greatly increases the quality of care, increases patient safety, improves referrals, and aides business continuity between Hospitals and consultant. Fysicon’s innovative technology improves service and promotes tighter integration between referring medical institutions.

“EVOCS eliminates the need for CDs and traditional radiology film because authorized facilities can now easily and instantly transmit images either in-house or externally faster than any conventional hospital VPN.

All users can send/receive, Dicom Query/Retrieve regardless of the size of hospital, number of PACS Vendor Servers or Consultant Radiologists.   EVOCS can compress and transmit all modality images, including MRI, Mammograms and CT scans, via our clinical application.

This technology has the potential to revolutionize patient care. The image sharing capability accelerates diagnosis and treatment and helps avoid unnecessary imaging rescanning. Images can now arrive at your emergency center well-ahead of a referred, allowing the studies to be read and the clinicians to be prepped and ready-to-go as soon as patients come through the doors.

Institutions across Europe chose EVOCS Clinical Systems because its functionality, flexibility, scalability and cloud-based architecture, which at best, enables any healthcare system to meet the clinical and business demands of a rapidly evolving healthcare service.  EVOCS sharply improves image management, distribution and data exchange, offering radiologists and physicians 24/7 access to images captured within any accessible network of providers that are connected via the EVOCS Gateway. This significantly streamlines workflow and quality care, especially for trauma and Cardiology patients, across the hospital network system.

Many of the Europe’s top healthcare providers continue to seek out ways to improve care, reduce health costs for patients and improve their overall IT PACS Solution are turning to Fysicon’s EVOCS Diagnostic Clinical Solution.

Fysicon’s CEO Mr Bert Elberse “We are honored that our cloud-based technology is a vital component and a significant part of the health system’s vision of collaborative, efficient and cost-effective care.  We look forward to helping our customers venture down the pathway of innovation as we continue to set new standards within an integrated care delivery model.”

EVOCS image-sharing technology is just one of many components in the innovative Information Exchange infrastructure at Fysicon. There are additional innovative solutions that offer Virtual PACS storage that also provide authorized users access to real-time patient information, including medical images and clinical data.
