CARDIOHELP, de nieuwste en kleinste hart-longmachine
ArrayOp de aankomende Medical wordt een wel heel erg kleine hart-longmachine geintroduceert. Op de Medica 2008 (Nov. 19-22 in Düsseldorf, Germany) presenteert MAQUET GmbH & Co. KG dit apparaat wat niet groter is dan een koffer. En daardoor kan de hart-long machine ook in de ambulance en andere spoedeisende hulp worden ingezet. Wij gaan hem zeker bekijken.
Maquet has launched Cardiohelp, the world’s smallest, lightest heart-lung machine, that can not only provide a total therapy solution for heart surgery, cardiology, intensive and emergency care, but also, due to its suitcase size and 10 kg weigh, the device can be carried by just one person onto a helicopter or ambulance for mo-bile use.
