Data van negen Merck Serono pijplijn-producten uit het oncologische en immuno-oncologische veld worden gepresenteerd tijdens ASCO, waaronder anti-PD-L1, c-Met remmer en TH-302
Merck Serono, de Duitse farmaceutische divisie van Merck, presenteert nieuwe klinische onderzoeksdata van negen werkzame stoffen uit de oncologische en immuno-oncologische pijplijn van het bedrijf op het 50ste jaarlijkse congres van de ‘American Society of Clinical Oncology’ (ASCO), dat van 30 mei tot 3 juni 2014 plaatsvindt in Chicago. 
Merck presenteert de meest recente onderzoeksgegevens van onze oncologische pijplijnproducten waaronder de fase I data van het veelbelovende anti-PD-L1 monoclonale antilichaam. Merck Serono’s oncologie en immuno-oncologie pijplijn bevat meer dan 22 onderzoeksprogramma’s, van vroeg- tot in laat stadium van ontwikkeling, gericht op verschillende moeilijk behandelbare kankersoorten. Belangrijke data die tijdens het ASCO-congres gepresenteerd zullen worden, betreffen onder andere de voorlopige onderzoeksresultaten van een anti-PD-L1 monoclonaal antilichaam (MSB0010718C) en de c-Met remmer (MSC2156119J) voor mogelijke behandeling van gevorderde solide maligniteiten. Daarnaast zal ook onderzoeksdata van TH-302 worden gepresenteerd. Dit is een ‘hypoxia’-geactiveerd ‘prodrug’, voor meervoudig myeloom en glioblastoom.
